George Clooney revealed the lesson he has learned the most throughout his career after working on Batman & Robin.
Clooney starred in 1997s Batman & Robin, along with Chris O’Donnell and Uma Thurman. The film was critically panned earning 11 Razzie Award nominations and currently holds the low review of 11% on Rotten Tomatoes.
In conversation with the People magazine during Jay Kelly premiere in Los Angeles, the Ocean’s Eleven actor said, "Batman & Robin! I learned a lot [from] that one."
"You don't learn from succeeding — you learn from failing," he continued. "Then you have to figure it out along the way, so it’s helpful."
This is not the first time the Wolves actor has criticised his own film. Previously he has admitted that the film was a "failure" and influenced work he would chose to do in future.
"I wasn’t good in it, it wasn’t a good film," he told The Hollywood Reporter at the time. "What I learned from that failure was that I had to relearn how I was working."
Following the unsuccessful movie, eight years later Clooney hit a major milestone as he won his first ever Oscar for Actor in a Supporting Role in 2005’s Syriana.
Since than Clooney has starred in major critically acclaimed films like, Michael Clayton, The American, Hail, Ceaser!and many more.
Clooney’s upcoming film Jay Kelly is slated for limited theatrical release on November 14 and will later premiere on Netflix on December 5.
