Demi Moore rang in her 63rd birthday with a gift that couldn’t be wrapped, a sweet surprise from her 2-year-old granddaughter, Louetta.

On Nov. 11, The Substance star shared a video on Instagram of a FaceTime call with the toddler, who happily sang “Happy Birthday” to her “Yaya.”

Moore smiled in the clip as she held up her iPad during a car ride, while her tiny dog Pilaf sat comfortably on her lap.

“Aw, thank you! What good singing. I love you!” Moore said warmly as they exchanged blown kisses. The adorable moment continued with playful back-and-forth lines.

When Louetta signed off with, “See you later, alligator!” Moore repeated it, and the toddler chimed in again, “After a while, crocodile”, leaving Moore laughing.

Moore captioned the clip, “The sweetest birthday present from my little Lou! Thank you for all of the birthday wishes,” making it clear the heartfelt call meant more than any party or present.

The close bond between Moore and her granddaughter has been fondly shared by Rumer Willis, who welcomed Louetta with ex-boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas.

Speaking to PEOPLE in May, Willis joked that her mom is responsible for introducing Disney movies into the house. She recalled visiting and seeing Moana on despite her “no TV until she’s 5” goal.

Willis also shared how much joy the pair brings each other.

She said Louetta’s face “lights up” during FaceTime calls with Moore when they’re apart. Rephrasing her thoughts, Willis noted that her mother has always had an instinctive ease with babies and that watching them together feels especially meaningful.

With a simple birthday call filled with song, laughter and love, Moore’s celebration highlighted what mattered most, family, connection and a granddaughter who made the day unforgettable.
