Jonathan Bailey shared his thoughts on becoming a father and be a loving protective figure for kids one day.
Bailey, who has recently won the title of People’s Sexiest Man Alive, shared his perspective about stepping into fatherhood.
The Bridgerton star in conversation with Esquire magazine, said, "There’s obviously loads of kids that could really benefit from love and support."
The actor went on to talk about his sexuality and the privilege of having "no biological clock" when it comes to having kids.
He added, "It's such a privilege, isn’t it, to even be able to have a kid? So, I'm aware of it as an idea, as a concept, but it doesn’t feel very loud in my head at the moment."
This is not the first time Bailey has commented about having children.
Previously, the Wicked actor told the People magazine that starting a family is still something he definitely think about.
"If the planets align, for sure," Bailey said about wanting to step into fatherhood. "I feel like in the world that we live in now, everyone's going to need a bit of guidance."
Revealing how his parenting is going to look like, he continued, "I'd be terrible at getting them through university. And they would not be able to speak another language. But maybe they will, and that’s how I’ll learn."
While his parenting journey is on hold, Bailey is handful with another duty, like playing Prince Fiyero in Wicked: For Good.
Currently the cast and crew are busy attending premieres and press tours for the film, which is slated for release on November 21.
