RalphMacchio turns 64: Fans shocked by his real age

Ralph Macchio, the star who shot to fame with his iconic roles in The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai, has turned another year older and fans can’t believe it.

The American actor, best known for playing Daniel LaRusso in four Karate Kid films, celebrated his 64th birthday on Tuesday, November 4.

On the occasion of his milestone birthday, several clips from his viral interviews have resurfaced, showing moments where he casually reveals his age and fans are always shocked.

What actor looks 30 but is 60?

The only befitting answer of this query from fans is Ralph Macchio.

During a past appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host asked, "Do people lose their minds when they find out your age?"

"Yeah. No, maybe a little surprised," the Hollywood Walk of Famer replied humbly, revealing he was 60 at the time.

Another snippet emerged from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where Colbert commented, "I think of you as a young kid, and maybe other people think of you as, and you certainly look young. But now, do you mind me asking how old you actually are?"

The legendary actor responded with humour, "No, I don’t mind you asking. Shall I tell you?"

"Oh no, let me guess," the host chimed in but was warned by Macchio, who was 30 at that time. "No, you’ll be off by decades."

In another older clip, when asked at 18 how old he was, he confidently replied, prompting to female interviewer to react, "That's hard to believe."

Just as fan pages were celebrating Macchio’s latest birthday, netizens have flooded social media with astonished reactions.

"Seriously?! He’s 64? He looks fabulous," one expressed. Followed by another, "

And still looks fine AF. And he named his son Daniel."

A third wrote, "But that Karate Kid troupe got him looking like he’s still in his 30s."

A fourth chimed in saying, "Whoa! [shocked emoji]" as others flooded the comments section, writing, "He never ages lol, looks 30 my forever crush."

"Dude looks 46, not 64," another admirer shared.

No secret skincare routine here. The Primetime Emmy Award nominee hasn’t got any secret to spill as he credits his youthful, age-defying looks simply to good genes.

How old was Ralph Macchio when he made 'The Karate Kid'?

Macchio was 22 years old when he first starred as Daniel LaRusso in The Karate Kid in 1984, playing a character much younger than his actual age.
