Netflix is kicking off awards season with one of its biggest months yet, debuting a mix of prestige dramas, high-profile films, and returning fan favorites in November.

Leading the lineup is the long-awaited first part of Stranger Things’ fifth and final season, premiering November 26.

Set in 1987 Hawkins, the no-longer-kids face Vecna once more in a climactic showdown, with returning stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, and Sadie Sink.

Another major highlight is Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, streaming November 7. The Venice Film Festival favourite earned a 14-minute standing ovation and boasts an 85 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.

Starring Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, and Jacob Elordi, the film is already an Oscar contender.

Netflix also revives Sesame Street with new episodes beginning November 10, following a deal with Sesame Workshop after Warner Bros. Discovery dropped the program.

On November 12, Being Eddie premieres, offering an intimate portrait of Eddie Murphy’s life, featuring interviews with Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jamie Foxx, and more.

November 13 brings two high-profile series: The Beast in Me, starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys in a gripping thriller, and Last Samurai Standing, a live-action adaptation of Shogo Imamura’s manga about a deadly 19th-century samurai contest.

Richard Linklater’s Nouvelle Vague debuts November 14, a love letter to French New Wave cinema starring Guillaume Marbeck and Zoey Deutch. Later, on November 21, Clint Bentley’s Train Dreams, starring Joel Edgerton and Felicity Jones, joins the Oscar race.

November’s movie additions include Tenet, Blue Beetle, Crazy Rich Asians, Elvis, Doctor Sleep, Ocean’s 8, Paddington 2, and Wonka.

With blockbuster finales, award contenders, and timeless classics, Netflix’s November lineup promises something for every viewer.
