Tom Felton shared a magical news for Harry Potter fans!
The 37-year-old actor announced that he is going to reprise his infamous role of Draco Malfoy 14 years after the original films aired.
The Rise of the Planet of the Apes actor will be making his return in his Broadway debut, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, as announced on the Today show, on Thursday, June 5.
Felton will be playing the adult Draco in the stage show which first started in London in 2016.
Gushing about coming back to the series, Felton said, "It's very much a pinch-me kind of situation. I keep thinking I'm dreaming. I let go of that character 16 years ago, and now getting a chance to step back into his shoes — as a father this time, in a new story — I get to meet Draco as an adult, which is very exciting."
He went on to share that he “cried” tears of happiness as he put on the costume of Draco Malfoy once again.
"I've been very excited to share this news, and I had to keep it under wraps for quite a while," he told the hosts.
“It’s surreal to be stepping back into his shoes — and of course his iconic platinum-blond hair — and I am thrilled to be able to see his story through and to share it with the greatest fan community in the world,” Felton added.
