Speaking at a press conference, the elders of Ayun village and Bamburet, including Wajihuddin, Abdul Majeed Qureshi, Muhammad Rahmanand others said that Ayun was the gateway of Kalash valleys.

They said that the government should channelize the stream in Bamburet on war-footing because its construction would be not possible after the month of March due rising levels of water in the nullah.

The elders said that the region and residents were badly affected by climate change and the recent terrorism acts, who should be compensated for their losses.
