CHITRAL: Pakistan People’s Party women’s wing leader Shahab Sana has complained that the PPP was the major political party in the district but wrong decisions of the top brass always affected the results in elections.
Talking to reporters, she said that the party leadership had held out an assurance that PPP district president Shabnam Nasir and Saifullah Kalash would be the candidates for women and minority seats from the district, respectively.
However, she said Shabnam Nasir was placed on eighth number while there was no name of Saifullah Kalash when the party issued the list of potential party candidates.
Shahad Sana said that Shabnam Nasir had worked hard and promoted the cause of the party in the district but now Nilofar Bibi was given priority while she had no relations with Chitral.
She asked the party leadership to reconsider its decision and give due place to the hardworking and honest workers of the party.
