The girls’ education is a leading source of changing the fate of a nation.

This was stated by International Islamic University Islamabad Rector Dr. Masoom Yasinzai while addressing the orientation session for new girls students.

The event was organised by the IIU Faculty of Management Sciences (female campus).

The rector said the IIU’s vision was to produce harmonious and skilled leaders blended with the characteristics of Islamic values.

He said a very small number of women had access to education in the country and, therefore, those having that opportunity must pave the way for success and right to education for the coming generations.

The rector said the university would continue providing the maximum opportunities to the girl students to showcase their talents and shine in education.

He said more PhD faculty members would soon join the faculty of management sciences for the good of students.

Dr. Samina Malik, the director at the female campus, welcomed new students and urged them to acquire education with dedication.

She said commitment to the education was the key to success.

Dr. Tasneem Fatima, the chairperson at the Faculty of Management Sciences at female campus, thanked the IIU rector and female campus director for joining the orientation session. She said around 4,000 students had been studying at FMS and the university would offer every possible support to them on educational matters.

During the orientation session, new students were informed about the university, faculty and class joining procedures.
