PESHAWAR: The activists of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) University of Peshawar campus on Thursday staged a protest to press the university administration to implement governor’s directives and wave off the fee of the students hailing from the Chitral district that was affected by the devastating floods.
Led by their campus nazim Hafeezullah, the students gathered at the administration block of the University of Peshawar and started a protest march.
They were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans about the rights of the students belonging to Chitral. They were also chanting slogans. After marching through different routes of the campus, the protesting students reached the historic Islamia College.
