LAHORE: The Lahore School of Economics (LSE) will host 11th annual conference “Management of the Pakistan Economy” on 25th and 26th March 2015 to illustrate ways in which Pakistan can be converted into a regional manufacturing hub, a statement said on Friday.
The conference will focus on the challenges faced by the country and the policies that should be implemented to overcome them.
The conference will further encompass seven sessions over the two days with each session focusing on a major theme. The sessions on day one will focus on manufacturing environment of the country and its policies and the sessions on the day two will focus on financial and technological obstacles.
It will come to an end with a panel discussion on the key conclusions provided in the conference.
The conference will bring together distinguished economists, academicians and policymakers from both the national and the international spheres and will be hosted at LSE’s Burki campus.
