People protest against hunger in Lahore locality

Lahore: People in Kot Lakhpat came out on the streets to protest against hunger. Women said they need food to eat at home. There said there are bills and rents to pay in the absence of work and money. They said they don’t know how to deal with the situation. Meanwhile, a person who was making video of the scene was beaten by police and dragged to the police station. He was later released. There are tweets showing scenes from Kot Lakhpat, Lahore, in which people are out on roads in search of food and money.
