Mill sealed, owner arrested

MULTAN: A special team of city district administration Thursday sealed a wheat flour mill and arrested its owner in connection with wheat flour price-hike and black marketing. According to officials, Sadr Assistant Commissioner Shahzad Mehboob raided the Sindhu Floor mill and arrested it owner Chaudhry Gulzar. The flour mill owner allegedly was selling wheat flour directly to shopkeepers without maintaining a record. He was selling a 20-kilogram bag of wheat flour at Rs 1,160. The city district administration sealed the mill and confiscated 1,837 flour bags and seized the whole record of the mill.
