Sergey Brin
Born August 21, 1973, in Moscow, Russia, Sergey immigrated to the United States at age six and eventually worked his way into becoming one of the co-founders of Google and a key figure in the development of the modern internet. He studied mathematics and computer science at the University of Maryland before landing in Stanford, where his partnership with Larry Page led to the creation of Google in a friend's garage. To date Brin remains a controlling shareholder and board member, after ,many years of serving as the President of Alphabet Inc. which he stepped down from in 2019. But that is not all, through is interest in large-scale data mining and artificial intelligence, Brin became a driving force behind innovative and experimental divisions like Google X, which focused on on self-driving cars and augmented reality glasses.
