Satya Nadella

Born Hyderabad, India on August 19, 1967 Satya Nadella is the Executive Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, and is hailed for single handedly constructing one of the most significant corporate turnarounds in history, since he joined in 1992. Before becoming CEO in 2014 as an electrical engineering and computer science graduate, he led the company’s move to the cloud, overseeing the development of the Azure platform. For this he prioritized collaboration, cloud computing, and AI integration over the traditional Windows-centric model and under his guidance, Microsoft has regained its position as one of the world’s most valuable companies, bolstered by strategic acquisitions like LinkedIn, GitHub, and a significant partnership with OpenAI.
