11 outlaws held, narcotics and weapons recovered

Islamabad : The Islamabad Police have arrested 11 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered narcotics, and weapons from them, the police spokesman said.

DIG (Operations) Waqar Ud din Syed has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the whole city and said that no laxity would be tolerated in this regard.

Following these directions, Karachi company police arrested three kite sellers namely Faraz, Mahaz and Aman-Ullah and recovered kites from their possession, while police also arrested accused namely Zafar Ali and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him.

Shalimar Police arrested accused Mukhtar and recovered one MP-5 gun from him, while police also arrested a drug pusher namely Asad and recovered 120 gram hashish from him.

Ramna Police arrested accused Mehboob and recovered 110 gram hashish from him.

Homicide police arrested accused Nasir and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him.

Koral Police arrested accused Muhammad Saleem selling petrol illegally, while police also arrested two accused Tamoor Sulman and Hassan Ali involved one wheeling.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.

DIG (Operations) Islamabad Waqar Uddin Syed has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities.

He said that it is the collective responsibility of the every person of the society to remain alert against those involved in criminal activities in their surroundings and inform police for action against them.
