30 outlaws held, stolen car and weapons recovered

Islamabad : Islamabad Police have arrested 30 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car, valuables, narcotics, wine, and weapons from them, a police spokesman said.

Following directions and guidance of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar khan, police spokesperson said that renewed efforts are underway to curb bootlegging and drug peddling activities in the city. DIG (Operations) Waqar Ud din Syed has conducted special meetings with heads of police stations and directed them to accelerate efforts against anti-social elements.

Following these orders, SP Industrial Area Zubair Ahmed Sheikh constituted police team under the supervision of SDPO Industrial-Area Zohaib Nusrullah Ranjah including SHO Industrial-Area Main Khurram along with others officials take action against this dangerous act and arrested four accused namely Bilal Ahmed, Muhammad Ali, Wasif Ali and Muhammad Ali and recovered huge quantity of kites and metal strings. While police team also arrested a drug pusher namely Banras and recovered 460 gram hashish and arrested proclaimed offender namely Baber Arif and also recovered a stolen vehicle. Further- more police apprehended nine suspects. ASI Barkat from Noon police arrested a bootleggers namely Shakeel Masih and recovered 35 bottles wine from him.

Secretariat police arrested accused Tariq Jan and recovered stolen valuable from him.

Bani Gala police arrested two accused Iqbal and Abid Hussain and recovered 150 gram hashish and two bottles wine from their possession. Tarnol police arrested accused Raisat and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him. Khanna police arrested accused Saddaqat Khan and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him.
