Court gives FIA 10 days to file final charge sheet

KARACHI: A local court on Thursday granted 10 days time to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to file a final charge sheet in fake degrees scam against Axact CEO Shoaib Shaikh and eight other accused.
Earlier, an application was moved on behalf of the FIA before the judicial magistrate (South) that prayed to the court to extend time for submission of final charge sheet as the investigation was on and more disclosures were being made by the accused in fake degrees scam.
The court while considering the request granted another 10 days to the FIA to submit a final charge sheet against the accused.The court while granting the permission said that a final charge sheet should be submitted after the time period (10 days) was completed.
