KARACHI: The Court of District and Sessions Judge (South) reserved its order on the question of sending Axact CEO Shoaib Shaikh and other accused to Islamabad in order to face different cases over there.
The court after hearing arguments reserved its order on an application filed by the investigators (Federal Investigation Agency, FIA) seeking permission of the court to shift the custody of Shoaib Shaikh and his detained accomplices to Islamabad for facing some other charges in the cases lodged in Islamabad.
Shaoib Shaikh and eight other accused were sent to the central prison on judicial remand by the court of Judicial Magistrate (South) Noor Muhammad Kalmati on June 8.
On Saturday, the attorney for Shoaib Shaikh and others submitted the copies of a ruling of Sindh High Court that has made the Sessions Court concerned bound to hear the view point of the attorneys first and then take any decision in the legal fate of the trial of the accused.
On the other hand the court of Judicial Magistrate (South) Noor Muhammad Kalmati also reserved its ruling on an application on recording statements of the witnesses against Shoiab Shaikh and others.
