Islamabad : Subject to censor, three new films are expected to be released this week. With constant amazingly good cinema pouring out, one should be hopeful of profitable box office outcome.
Geo Entertainment-Nehr Ghar's ‘Laal Kabootar’ Ali is directed by Kamal Khan, produced by Hania, Kamil Chima with Ali Abbas Naqvi's script. The cast include Ahmad Alli Akbar, Mansha Pasha, Ali Kazmi, saleem Mairaj, Rashid Faroqui.
‘Laal Kabootar’ like many other fresh and realistic films from Karachi in the recent years, is yet another film full of thrills and action. It is the inner city streets with crime and revenge running as the main theme.
Director Azfar Jafri returns after Janaan and Parhi with aerial action packed Sher Dil. Scripted by Nomaan Khan, the cast includes Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ameena Rana Khan,Belal Shahid, Laila Zuberi and Samina Ahmad. There have been two films on Air Force. ‘Qasam Aus Waqt Ki’ in 1969 and ‘Parwaz Hai janoon’ last year. While Qasam played moderately, ‘Parwaz Hai Janoon’ was a smash hit making over 360 million and still running in selected theatre. Sher Dil and Qasam both share dramatic and highly patriotic events from 1965 September War.
