NAWABSHAH: A large number of bank managers and officials of public and private universities were removed from services following detailed inquiries confirming harassment of women officials. This was said by Provincial Ombudsman Justice (retd) Shah Nawaz Tariq while addressing the World Women Day organized at the Peoples University for Medical and Health Science for Women.
He said the office of the Ombudsman is providing protection and justice to the working women against harassment at work. He said the victims can submit their complaints in writing apart from fax, WhatsApp, email, telephone and message services along with her address and contact number and immediate action is initiated on the complaint. He said a lady lawyer is also arranged by the Ombudsman office, for the complainant woman without any fee. Justice (retd) Tariq advised the women not to be afraid of such people who want to discourage women from progressing in society.
