FEDERAL Investigation Agency (FIA) has auctioned the property of Asim Malik and his wife Zubia Rubab Malik located in Judicial Colony Lahore.
According to the FIA officials, auction of the property, comprising a bungalow, was won by Mian Khalid Hameed, a resident of Lahore, against Rs38.3 million. Now, the FIA officials have started preparations to put on auction cars/vehicles of Asim Malik, chief executive officer of the Future Concern Associates.
Similarly, 92 Kanals of land in Bhera, Sargodha, owned by Ms Zubia would be put on auction soon as the FIA has also contacted the court concerned in this regard.
The FIA has already auctioned around 273 Kanals of land belonged to the couple in Bhera. It is pertinent to mention here that in 2012, on the directions of the Lahore High Court, FIA registered over 180 cases of fraud, human trafficking valuing billions of rupees against Asim and Zubia.
