Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's plans for joint UK trip revealed
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Australia trip is a test case for a potential joint tour in the UK
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could consider a return to the UK jointly if their trip to Australia next week is a success.
According to a report by the Sun, the insiders have claimed that Meghan and Harry’s Australia trip is a test case for a potential joint tour in the UK.
This is their first trip to Australia since since Megxit in 2020, drawing comparisons to their official tour as working royals eight years ago.
The insiders will be closely watching the reaction that Meghan and Harry receive in Australia from royal fans and even republicans.
The success of the tour is to be measured against their blockbuster 2018 visit, which took place at the height of their popularity just months after their wedding, while they were still working royals.
The insider tells the outlet, “It is a significant joint tour and could prove to be a blueprint for future tours together of this type.”
Meanwhile, Archie and Lilibet doting parents have been issued a stark warning over using the royal titles during their upcoming trip to Australia next week.
A royal expert has warned Meghan and Harry that they will infuriate royal family if they use their titles during Australia tour.
The OK! quoted royal expert Robert Jobson as saying, "I’m sure [Buckingham Palace] would prefer that Harry and Meghan weren’t going, but there’s not a lot they can do about it. They have no control.
"There will undoubtedly be a sense of confusion about what Harry and Meghan are there for … this trip may stick in the gullet of the palace."
