Punjab cities hit by hours-long loadshedding

SIALKOT: The citizens faced nuisance due to unscheduled hours-long electricity loadshedding from Monday night to Tuesday.

Karimpua, Hajipura, Mubarakpura, Shahabpura, Fatehgarh, Hadi Town, Harar, Muzaffarpur, Adalatgarh, Islamia Park, Model Town, Iqbal Town, Kashmiri Muhallah, Nihal Chand Street, Greenwood Street and a number of other city localities faced six to eight hours of power loadshedding.

The electricity loadshedding had also caused shortage of potable water. The rural areas of Kharota Syedan, Uggoki, Dallowali, Uggoki, Kotli Loharan and many others faced eight to ten hours-long power outages. Citizens have demanded immediate end to the loadshedding.

NANKANA SAHIB: People have shown concern over 15-hour power loadshedding in the city.

The power supply remained suspended without any prior notice from the Wapda authorities. The power outages also caused water shortage in different areas. The citizens have demanded the Wapda high-ups look into the matter.

PAKPATTAN: The power loadshedding in and around the city has paralysed life of the people.

The power shutdown has increased with the increase of mercury. The electricity loadshedding has also created problems for farmers. The people have demanded the government look into the matter to resolve the issue.

LALAMUSA: People are facing problems due to hours-long electricity loadshedding in the city and its adjoining areas.

The people faced problems due to power loadshedding with regular intervals. The power outages also caused acute water shortage. The people have demanded the authorities take notice of the issue.

HAFIZABAD: Citizens are facing a number of problems and difficulties due to unscheduled power loadshedding here.

The electricity loadshedding has also caused closure of several powerloom factories. The people have demanded the authorities concerned take notice of the issue.
