PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nasir Khan Durrani has dismissed former district police officer (DPO) of Shangla Khalid Naseem from service in light of a departmental inquiry committee report.
The IGP had suspended DPO Khalid Naseem for illegal recruitment in the special police force and directed regional police officer Malakand to conduct departmental inquiry. The inquiry officer, in his report, said that allegations levelled against the officer were correct and the police chief dismissed the former DPO with immediate effect.
