‘Filling of graveyards in held Kashmir part of planned strategy’
APHC Chairman Ali Geelani says Indian govt holds power on basis of ruthlessness of armed forces
SRINAGAR: The Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Geelani, said in occupied Kashmir that civilian killings were part of a well-planned strategy of the authorities.
Syed Ali Geelani, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said, “Filling of graveyards with innocents is a well-planned strategy of the authorities and those crying and delivering sermons on the education and well-being of kids. These self-explaining facts of their real face are sufficient to prove their intent. But their eyes behind the veil of lust of power can hardly see these glaring incidents of cruelty and ruthlessness by the armed forces on whose support they hold the power.”
Meanwhile, the Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu Kashmir, in a statement in Srinagar, expressed condolence over the demise of Muhammad Akbar Ganie, grandfather of a Tehreek-e-Hurriyet activist, Umar Aadil Dar, at Kralpora in Srinagar. A delegation visited the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them.
