Foreign policy

Why has Pakistan not drafted an appropriate foreign policy yet? Which government department should be held responsible for this failure? Why is the office of the foreign minister vacant for the last three years? It is alarming that out of all our neighbours only China supports us. Granted, we have unpleasant relationships with India due to the Kashmir issue but with Iran and Afghanistan we do not have such bitter relations. Yet, these two countries are not happy with us.

There was a time when Iran and Pakistan shared friendly ties. However, the country has been treating us differently now. A country cannot progress in global isolation. We have to change our present foreign policy and maintain good relations with our neighbours.
