Players and students donate blood
PESHAWAR: A number of players and students participated in the blood donation drive launched by the Frontier Foundation to meet the requirements of children suffering from thalassemia and other blood disorders.
A communication said blood donation camps were organized at Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar, Cambridge College Deolai, and Government Degree College Kabal in Swat which received a highly encouraging response.
Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem, Chairman of Frontier Foundation, thanked the players and students who donated blood, saying that children suffering from blood disorders were bravely fighting these illnesses.He added that even a small effort from donors could save the lives of thalassemia fighters and other children struggling with blood-related diseases
