First Lady, Bilawal discuss investment cooperation with Qatar

ISLAMABAD: First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with Mohammad Saif Al-Sowaidi, chief executive officer of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), in Doha and discussed ways to enhance investment cooperation between Pakistan and Qatar, particularly in the energy, infrastructure and technology sectors.
The First Lady appreciated the QIA’s growing portfolio in Pakistan and welcomed its interest in expanding partnerships that could contribute to sustainable economic development and job creation.Al-Sowaidi reaffirmed the QIA’s commitment to exploring new opportunities for collaboration and strengthening economic ties between the two brotherly countries.
