32,531 students take MDCAT at 10 centres
Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Asif Hyder Shah expressed satisfaction over transparently conducting the Medical & Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) on Sunday, with 32,531 students taking the test at 10 examination centres. MDCAT 2025 was held across Sindh and Islamabad under the supervision of the Sukkur IBA.
Shah said that a three-tier vigilance system was established to ensure complete transparency during the test, with separate teams, comprising the Sukkur IBA, the health department and the respective district administrations, formed for each exam centre.
He said that 10 vigilance committees were also formed from the CS Office to monitor the process at all centres, including Islamabad, and they remained active throughout the test to ensure merit and fairness. The centres were established in Islamabad, Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Jamshoro, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Mirpurkhas and Shaheed Benazirabad.
Shah appreciated the efforts of the Sukkur IBA, the district administrations, the health department and all the relevant departments for their dedication and teamwork in ensuring that MDCAT was conducted smoothly and transparently.
He said transparency and merit remained top priorities of the provincial government throughout the test. He added that the arrangements for MDCAT were widely appreciated by the students, their parents, the media and social media users, reflecting public confidence in the fair and transparent exam system established by the government.
