Swati case hearing put off

ISLAMABAD: Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka adjourned the hearing till October 23, summoning prosecution witnesses in the controversial tweets cases against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Azam Swati.
The prosecution witnesses could not appear due to which their statements could not be recorded. The court adjourned the hearing and directed that the prosecution present its witnesses in the court on the future date.
It may be recalled that the NCCI had registered two cases against Swati on charges of controversial tweets.
