CM okays Dr Fateh Marri’s appointment as Sindh University VC

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has approved the appointment of Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri as vice chancellor of Sindh University for the next four years.
The VC post had been vacant for the last nine months and Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Kambati had been working as acting vice chancellor. The search committee had sent three names for the Sindh University’s VC post to the chief minister, in which Dr. Fateh Marri, former VC of the Tando Jam Agriculture University, was in first place with 74.40 marks, Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Kambati was in second place with 63.20 marks, while Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro was in third place with 63 marks.
