Luxury car stolen in UK three years ago found in Karachi

A high-end luxury vehicle stolen from the United Kingdom has been traced to Karachi, nearly three years after it was reported missing. British authorities have formally requested the assistance of Pakistani police to recover the vehicle.

The black Range Rover was stolen on November 22, 2022, from Harrogate, England. After years of remaining untraceable, its location was identified in Karachi on February 11, 2025. Following the discovery, Interpol Manchester sent an official letter to the Sindh Police, requesting their cooperation in recovering the stolen vehicle. The letter was received by the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC), which confirmed that a search operation has been launched.

Officials revealed that the vehicle’s tracker was disabled in Leeds shortly after the theft. However, recent tracking data shared by UK police pinpointed the vehicle’s location to Korangi Road, Azam Basti, in Saddar.

Detailed information about the vehicle has been uploaded to Interpol’s SMV (Stolen Motor Vehicles) database. Police officials stated that efforts are underway to locate the vehicle, but no recovery has been made so far. Interpol has urged Pakistani authorities to fully cooperate with the UK police to ensure the prompt recovery of the luxury car.
