Security withdrawn from capital’s district judiciary
ISLAMABAD: Security was withdrawn from the district judiciary of Islamabad, and the gunmen deployed with the judges were also removed. However, after District and Sessions Judge Nasir Javed Rana took notice of the matter, the police immediately provided alternative security.
The security of Islamabad’s subordinate judiciary was withdrawn and the gunmen deployed with the judges were also removed. District and Sessions Judge Islamabad Nasir Javed Rana took serious note of the matter and issued a show-cause notice to the DIG Security seeking an explanation.
The court ordered that the DIG Security should immediately appear before the court in a personal capacity to explain the issue of withdrawing the security of the district judges. As soon as the District and Sessions Judge Nasir Javed Rana took notice of the matter, the police immediately provided alternative security.
