US keen to help Pak trade, economy grow: Baker

ISLAMABAD:US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker has indicated a commitment to enhancing employment opportunities and development in Pakistan through technology.
During meetings with members of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association and young professionals from business, government, IT, education, arts, culture, and other sectors in Lahore, Ms Baker affirmed that the US was dedicated to fostering trade and economic growth in Pakistan. “We aim to bring the best of American technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship to create jobs and promote prosperity for the people of both the US and Pakistan,” a statement from the US Embassy in Islamabad quoted the US Chargé d’Affaires as saying to participants.
