CHITRAL: Newly elected senator and chairman of the Talha Mahmood Foundation Senator Talha Mahmood vowed to raise issues confronted by Chitral forcefully in the Upper House of Parliament and promised that his foundation would help resolve smaller local problems.
He was speaking at the introductory meeting organized by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) at a hotel. In his speech, he acknowledged the many challenges facing Chitral, with a special emphasis on health, education, and the poor condition of road infrastructure.
He stated that he joined the PPP because he was inspired by the vision of former president Asif Ali Zardari, crediting him for playing a significant role in helping the opposition secure five seats in KP.
