Three names shortlisted for Sufism University VC post

Three candidates were selected for the post of vice chancellor of the University of Sufism & Modern Sciences (USMS), Bhitshah, during a meeting of the search committee chaired by Sindh Higher Education Commission Chairman Dr Tariq Rafi.

The University of Sindh’s Mirpurkhas Campus former pro VC and IBA Director Dr Imamuddin Khoso has been placed first, Institute of Management Sciences Rector Tariq Rahim Soomro second and Sukkur IBA University PVC Dr Mir Muhammad Shah third.

Fifty-five candidates had been shortlisted for the USMS, and interviews of the candidates continued for a week. These three names will be sent to three reputable agencies of the country for intelligence clearance, after which the chief minister will interview them.
