‘CM Summer Games athletes getting best facilities’
LAHORE : Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar has said that on the special instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, all the players participating in the CM Summer Games will be provided with a three-time standard meal.
Faisal Khokhar made this announcement on Saturday during his visit to the Nishtar Park Sports Complex (NPSC) where he inspected the hostels of players participating in the Chief Minister Punjab Summer Games 2025 being organized under the auspices of Punjab Sports Department.
DG Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry gave a detailed briefing on the facilities being provided to the players. He said that international standard facilities including housing, food, medical aid and security are being provided to more than 700 players residing in the Nishtar Park Sports Complex hostel. Faisal Khokhar himself checked the quality of drinking water and received feedback from players especially female athletes regarding the cleanliness and other amenities. The players declared the facilities being provided satisfactory and ideal.
The minister added that Punjab govt is focussing on encouraging young talent and promote a dynamic, healthy and organized sports culture in the province. “We are committed to providing our youth a bright future in the playground”.
Faisal Khokhar also reviewed training infrastructure, coaching, refreshments and sports equipment and instructed the authorities to adopt a permanent surveillance system for further improvement of facilities.
