Allottees demand possession of plots

PESHAWAR: The owners of plots of land in various zones of the Regi Model Town staged a protest on Thursday to demand possession of their property.
The committee members protested in front of the Peshawar Press Club on behalf of 17,000 plot owners in zones 1,2, and 5 in RMT. They later held a press conference to demand possession. Led by KP Property Dealers Association President KP Sirajul Haq Yousufzai, they later told a news conference that they had been waiting for 35 years to obtain possession of RMT zones 1, 2, and 5. The speakers appealed to the KP chief minister, the Peshawar Development Authority director general apex court to help them get possession of the plots.
