2 die, 20 injured in Swat road mishaps

PESHAWAR: Two persons, including a child, were killed and 20 others injured when a bus carrying members of a wedding party plunged into a ravine in Shah Dherai area of Swat district on Tuesday.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, emergency response teams rushed to the site immediately after receiving reports of the accident. First aid was provided to the injured at the scene and those with minor injuries were taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Kabal.

The more critically wounded were later shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital for advanced medical care.Rescue authorities said that women and children were among the injured.
