Security plans for Eidul Azha finalised
KOHAT: A meeting chaired by Regional Police Officer of Kohat Region, Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat finalized foolproof security plans for Eid-ul-Azha.
Speaking to the media, Regional Police Officer Abbas Majeed Marwat said that the meeting conducted a detailed review of the security and administrative measures across the Kohat Region.
The meeting was attended by District Police Officers (DPOs) of Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Orakzai, and Kurram, along with SPs of the Counter Terrorism Department from Kohat and Kurram.After finalyzing the foolproof security plans for Eid-ul-Azha, the Kohat DIG issued directives to all DPOs in the region to ensure effective security arrangements at mosques, markets, cattle markets, and other public places to counter any threats.
He instructed the formulation and strict implementation of a comprehensive traffic management plan.The DIG directed all districts to immediately launch search operations and snap checking.
