Local issues aired at public forum in Tirah
BARA: The district administration organized a public forum on Thursday at the Tehsil Jirga Hall in Tirah valley to address the pressing issues faced by rural communities.
Deputy Commissioner Bilal Shahid Rao, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief) Irshad Ali, Additional Assistant Commissioner (Bara) Amanullah, Tirah Tehsildar Said Muhammad, and Colonel Zubair attended the forum.
Local elders, local government representatives, traders, and others were also present on the occasion.The elders and LG representatives highlighted the major issues they have been facing for years.
They informed the district administration about problems including lack of health facilities, the need for road and home rehabilitation following militancy, compensation survey delays, restrictions on the use of forest wood, shortage of teachers in schools, poor condition of link roads, issues with solar energy devices, and lack of mobile network services.The deputy commissioner issued directives to the relevant departments to take prompt action on the complaints.
