KMU observes World Immunisation Week 2025
PESHAWAR: Khyber Medical University (KMU) Institute of Pathology and Diagnostic Medicine (IPDM), in collaboration with AMSON Vaccines and Pharma, organized a symposium in connection with World Immunization Week 2025.
The symposium featured expert insights on the significance of vaccines, disease prevention, and immunization strategies. Activities included an awareness walk, a cake-cutting ceremony, and a special vaccination drive offering vaccines at discounted rates for KMU faculty members, staff, and their families.
Vice-Chancellor KMU, Prof Dr Ziaul Haq, was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, he emphasized the university’s commitment to public health and preventive immunization. He appreciated the vaccination drive, noting that it would not only raise awareness among students, faculty, and staff but also provide access to essential vaccines under one roof at reduced costs.
