LAHORE:Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana chaired a meeting to review the performance of the Civil Lines and City Divisions at his office. The CCPO issued instructions to prepare a comprehensive security plan for the upcoming Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali (RA) and Eidul Fitr.

He directed SSP (Operations) to carry out a large-scale crackdown on kite flyers. He also emphasised the formation of teams to prevent property-related crimes, adding that policemen with professional skills and experience be tasked with ensuring the prevention of such crimes. He highlighted the need to focus on the new performance indicators introduced for the police department.

Bilal Siddique Kamyana also stressed the importance of ensuring the prevention of motorcycle theft and snatching. He directed that parking points be designated with the cooperation of the line departments. Additionally, security measures should be implemented at parking points in markets and commercial areas through the administration concerned. The CCPO added that preventive measures should be taken to curb motorcycle theft during public gatherings.

Furthermore, Bilal Siddique Kamyana urged the officers to utilise their professional skills to ensure prompt relief to the common man. DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran, SSP (Investigation) Mohammad Naveed, SSP (Operations) Tassawar Iqbal, SPs of Civil Lines and City Divisions, ASPs, Circle Officers, SHOs and Investigation In-Charges attended the meeting.
