NAB officer found dead in guest house
Police stated that body of NAB officer was recovered after breaking down door of guest house room
ISLAMABAD: A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officer mysteriously passed away in Islamabad and his body was recovered from a guest house.
According to the police, the body of Grade-19 officer Waqas Ahmed was found in a guest house located in Sector G-6/4 of Islamabad.
The police stated that the body of NAB officer was recovered after breaking down the door of the guest house room.
The body has been taken into custody and shifted to hospital for
postmortem.
The deceased NAB officer was residing in the guest house located in G-6/4 within the jurisdiction of Aabpara police station.
The exact cause of death will be revealed in the postmortem report. The family of the deceased has not yet submitted any written request to the police for further action.
Sources revealed that NAB officer Waqas Ahmed was from Lahore and had previously served as the investigating officer in the Ogra case.
After his sudden and mysterious death, investigations are being carried out from different angles to determine the actual reasons of death.
