Governor blames PTI govt for KP’s poor law and order
TAKHT BHAI: Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday held Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government responsible for the deteriorating law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Speaking at a gathering here, he alleged that instead of utilizing public funds for welfare, PTI had squandered national resources on political rallies and gatherings.
The governor claimed that corruption and nepotism had increased under the PTI-led government, calling it evidence of the party’s governance failure. He accused PTI of abandoning the province to militants, stating that even the chief minister could not visit his native village due to security concerns.
He expressed concerns over the plight of the Pakhtuns, asserting that the provincial government had pushed them to the brink of disaster. He accused PTI of misleading the youth with empty slogans, while the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), he emphasized, had always worked for the progress and prosperity of the nation.
He highlighted PPP’s contributions, including making Pakistan a nuclear power, and assured that the party remained committed to democratic values and public service.Faisal Karim Kundi congratulated Aurangzeb Khan on joining the PPP after quitting the Awami National Party (ANP), calling him a dedicated worker whose inclusion would strengthen the party. The event was attended by key PPP figures, including provincial president Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, Mardan district president Asadullah Khan, and several senior party members.
