Man injured in ‘grenade’ blast

PESHAWAR: One person was wounded in an apparent grenade blast in the crowded Mohallah Khudadad on Wednesday evening.An official said the bomb disposal unit experts were examining the spot to find the cause of the explosion. There were some reports that it was caused by a hand grenade.
The explosion in the area has triggered concerns among the locals. The area is the crowded trade hub of the provincial capital. There were reports that one assistant of the shop sustained injuries and was shifted to hospital.
