Two killed, 5 hurt in Sheikhupura mourning procession firing

LAHORE: Two persons were killed while 5 others received injuries when some unknown persons resorted to firing during a procession in Bhikki, Sheikhupura on Tuesday.
A cop was also among the injured persons. The incident created panic in the area. A large number of male and female mourners can be seen in the footage which went viral.
The procession was heading on the given route when some unknown persons resorted to firing. As a result, two persons died on the spot while 5 others received injuries.
The shooters fled the scene. Heavy contingents of police reached the scene and controlled over the situation. Further investigations are under way.
