SWABI: Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) here on Wednesday launched an Advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) bootcamp in collaboration with SkyElectric.
The opening ceremony was attended by Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid, Rector of GIKI, and Ashar Aziz, SkyElectric, Inc. chairman.The participants underscored the importance of the initiative in the context of global technological advancements.
The bootcamp will continue till August 30 aiming to impart high-impact knowledge and skill sets to recent graduates in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines from across the country.
The organisers said the objective of the bootcamp was to enable graduates to become internationally competitive in AI through eight weeks (280 hours) of extensive hands-on training under the mentorship of industry leaders and AI experts.
Prof Khalid, highlighted the GIKI’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in technology education.He emphasized the bootcamp role in preparing students and professionals to meet the evolving demands of the AI industry. Ashar Aziz shared his vision of a future where AI-trained resources were pivotal to technological progress and economic growth.He discussed the vast opportunities available in the market for individuals proficient in AI and deep learning.
