NOWSHERA: A proclaimed offender sustained injuries in police firing in the limits of Pabbi Police Station on Wednesday.The police said that they had barricaded the Grand Trunk (GT) Road for checking vehicles near Pabbi in Nowshera district.
They said that a man riding a bike was signaled to stop for checking but he tried to flee the scene. Upon this, the police party chased him and asked him time and again to stop but he did not listen to the calls of police.The man identified as Sardar Khan, a resident of Palosi, sustained injuries on his foot when a police party resorted to open fire on him He was arrested and taken to the Pabbi Hospital for medical treatment.
